Murray Harcourt is a rapidly expanding accountancy firm based in central Leeds. Corporate Workspace were involved from an early stage, developing an evolving brief that included consolidation of staff, furniture and equipment from two existing offices and producing feasibility studies for several potential office spaces before the final space was chosen. The project involved a full turnkey solution including furniture supply, all fit-out elements and move management. The project was implemented to a very tight timescale: just eight weeks from landlord sign-off to practical completion.
As well as the main workspace, reception and meeting suite, the client aimed to develop the staff working environment to introduce agile and multi-functional breakout and working areas. To this end the facility includes several key features including a reconfigurable seminar space for both internal training and external CPD and business events, a ‘think’ room for brainstorming and creative thinking, private one-on-one booths, a business lounge for staff and visitors and an executive lounge.
